ICM for SCinet

ICM University of Warsaw have been given the opportunity to work along excellent specialist building SCinet before each Supercomputing conference since 2018. Anually ICM sends one or two people who are responsible for Virtual Lab, which allows to check and test the network which during the conference will be used by more than 10k attendees.
This year Jarek and Bartek are responsible for the implementation of the project.

Jarosław Skomiał is the chief network engineer at the Interdisciplinary Center for Mathematical and Computational Modelling (ICM) University of Warsaw. Since 2016 he’s been leading the Data Center and Computer Network Services Team. In 2019, he was network architect during the production trial over the newly built Collaboration Asia Europe-1 100 Gbps transcontinental Warsaw-Singapore link.

Bartosz Drogosiewicz is a network and systems engineer at the Interdisciplinary Center for Mathematical and Computational Modelling (ICM) University of Warsaw. Currently, he’s responsible for maintaining core IT infrastructure and network. He is also involved in numerous projects ICM participates in.
